Collection: Safety

Custom safety T-shirts with hi-visibility (hi-vis) strips are designed to provide enhanced safety and visibility in environments where individuals need to stand out for protection. These T-shirts combine the functionality of high-visibility workwear with the convenience of lightweight, breathable materials, making them ideal for industries such as construction, road work, logistics, and event management.

The addition of reflective hi-vis strips increases visibility in low-light or hazardous conditions by reflecting light from vehicles, equipment, or other sources. These strips are strategically placed on key areas like the chest, shoulders, and back to ensure maximum visibility from all angles.

Custom safety T-shirts can be personalized with logos, company names, designs, or even safety slogans. Adding safety slogans such as "Alert Today, Alive Tomorrow" or "Think Safety First" reinforces safety awareness while promoting a culture of mindfulness among teams. This not only enhances brand recognition but also supports workplace safety initiatives.

Crafted from durable and moisture-wicking fabrics, these T-shirts provide comfort during long hours of wear in various working conditions. Custom safety T-shirts with hi-vis strips and personalized safety messages are an excellent choice for businesses looking to prioritize safety while maintaining a professional and branded appearance.

Safety, Hi-Vis, and FR Apparel (with Classifications):

Hi-Vis (High Visibility), and FR (Flame-Resistant) apparel are essential for protecting workers in hazardous environments, with specific classifications and standards that ensure optimal safety.

  1. Hi-Vis Apparel: High visibility clothing is designed to ensure workers are seen in low-light or high-risk areas, such as roadways or construction sites. Hi-Vis apparel typically includes brightly colored fabrics (Safety Yellow & Safety Orange) and reflective strips to improve visibility, even in poor lighting conditions or at night. There are different classes of Hi-Vis apparel that are rated based on their visibility and the level of risk:

    • Class 1: These garments provide the lowest level of visibility and are suitable for environments where there is minimal risk (e.g., low-speed vehicle traffic). They typically feature smaller reflective areas and are often used for workers on sidewalks or in low-risk areas.

    • Class 2: These garments provide a higher level of visibility and are suitable for workers in environments with higher traffic speeds and potential hazards. They include more reflective materials and are commonly worn by those working near roads, airports, or in areas where visibility is critical, but traffic is not as fast-moving.

    • Class 3: These garments offer the highest level of visibility, making them ideal for environments with high-risk situations, such as roadways with high-speed traffic, emergency responders, or construction zones. Class 3 apparel features extensive reflective materials that cover a larger area, offering maximum visibility even from long distances or in poor lighting conditions.

  2. Flame-Resistant (FR) Apparel: FR garments are made from materials that resist ignition and self-extinguish when exposed to flames or extreme heat. These garments are essential for workers exposed to fire, electrical hazards, or high-temperature environments. FR clothing can be made from materials such as Nomex®, Kevlar®, or Proban® and is designed to reduce the risk of burn injuries.

    • FR apparel includes jackets, pants, shirts, coveralls, and outerwear, and is often used in industries like electrical, oil & gas, welding, and firefighting. These garments may also be required in environments where there is a risk of arc flash or flash fire.

  3. Combination of Safety Features: In some cases, garments are designed to combine multiple features, such as Hi-Vis and FR properties, ensuring workers are both visible and protected from flame hazards. These combination garments are essential for workers who face multiple hazards, such as those in road construction or emergency services.

By adhering to established safety standards (such as ANSI/ISEA 107 for Hi-Vis clothing or NFPA 70E for FR apparel), these garments ensure that workers have the necessary protection, visibility, and comfort in hazardous environments.
